The audience for my chosen festival is families looking for a fun festival on the weekend to try new foods. This means my main audience will be coming in groups to my festival.
Stakeholders

These are my festivals stake holders and why they are important to my chosen project. The main points that I think my stakeholders will consider success is, a useful app and website which is clear and is easy for everyone to use. The main part of the app and website that the stake holders will consider success is ticket sales, and how easy the process of buying them is for the user. The assumptions my stake holders have is the festival will be popular so the app should be able to handle a lot of users at a time.
Product Users

The main user of my app and website are families, especially parents, who are booking a day out for the whole family. Because of this they will most likely be booking the tickets in bulk, especially big families. With this in mind I will make sure that my website and app allow an easy way to buy multiple tickets at the same time and make the process as easy and quick as possible. The lesser users will be young adults and elderly users. Because of the possibility of elderly users I will make sure my website and app have clear and simple instructions so the process will be as easy as possible for them.

This was the first website I researched for my project, the ‘taste of London’ food festival. Here are the pros and cons I found about the website:

What would success look like for my design?
I believe that success for my food festival will be for the user to have the easiest and simple way to buy tickets and find out information so there is little confusion on the day. Another success for my festival app and website is making sure it’s accessible as possible and caters to as many needs as I can.
Assumptions for my festival
One assumption for my festival is most people will be coming with big groups as the majority of user personas said they wanted to find a day out to spend with friends and family. Another assumption I have for this festival is people will want a variety of different foods as some users had dietary requirements and some users wanted to try different foods.
